Literally Media’s beloved media outlet Cheezburger is searching for a freelance writer to work with our animal-themed brands, ICanHasCheezburger & Animal Comedy. This position will be based in our Herzliya Pituach office, two days a week. 
 
Tasks
  • Search for trending/new animal content that could fit our global audience.
  • Write interesting and entertaining animal content: sum up funny meme lists, add your own introduction and commentary to trending animal-related discussions you find on Reddit, pick out the greatest tweets around a specific animal or animal-related event and write something about that topic, and more.

 

REQUIREMENTS
  • Native English speaker (a must!)
  • Excellent grammar skills and story-telling abilities
  • Must be creative and quick on your feet and on the keyboard
  • Must love and understand animal internet culture, pop culture, and web communities (seriously, you must love the internet, weird YouTube channels, cool Reddit threads, the newest meme trends, etc.)
  • Experience in content writing, editing, and professional social media work – a significant advantage
